Good Hands Creamery
Good Hands Creamery was started in 2023 by Liz Bleakley and Nachiket Kumar in Brownsville, VT. They make raw milk cheese by hand, using traditional techniques and the highest quality, fresh, local milk. Their cheeses are currently available for sale in 12 stores and on-site at their farmstand and on their website. In their words: “Our work is inspired by a love of cheese, microbiology and human health and an awe of the ancient relationship between humans and dairy animals. We enjoy the technical and creative aspects of cheesemaking, and bringing joy to people’s faces with food.” Liz and Nachi received a VFF New Producer Loan to help finance the construction of their new underground cheese cave!
